Fleet Management

Fleet management is where vedSecure scales from a single endpoint tool into a real operations platform. Device grouping, health tracking, and release consistency are central to that shift.

Group devices deliberately

Device grouping should reflect actual operational differences such as department, privilege level, trust profile, and software stack. Good grouping makes policy assignment predictable and alert review more meaningful.

Watch for drift and stale endpoints

Unhealthy devices often become the blind spots that matter later. Fleet management surfaces stale agents, missed updates, long-offline endpoints, and policy mismatch so they can be fixed before an incident depends on them.

Operate in cohorts

Large fleets usually benefit from managing change in cohorts instead of in one broad motion. Cohorts are especially useful for policy experiments and release channel promotions.
